1k Novices Challenge
Starts 9:30am
The 1km Novice Challenge is an entry level swim for individuals who are 9 years and over. It is open to novices of any age who are wishing to find a place to start with ocean swimming.
The 1k Novice Challenge course begins at Shelly Beach and finishes at the southern end of Manly Beach near the Manly Life Saving Club.
Prizes
- All competitors will receive a certificate of achievement detailing their time and place.
- All Individual Age Category winners and placegetters will receive a ceramic trophy designed exclusively for the Novice Challenge by Celestial Ceramics
- Adult Men - 3 x Celestial Ceramics trophies to be randomly awarded
- Adult Women - 3 x Celestial Ceramics trophies to be randomly awarded
- Back of Pack - 3 x Celestial Ceramics trophies to be randomly awarded
