2k Cole Classic Challenge
On race day
All swimmers will be issued with a swim cap and timing device which must be worn for safety reasons during the entire running of the event. Failure to finish with cap on may lead to disqualification.
All swimmers must swim the prescribed course and, in the event that they do not complete the course, ensure that their name is marked off the official entrants register at the Information stall.
Race Day Entry & Registration

Race Day Entries will be open from 8.00-9.30am. If you are planning to enter the swim on the day, both your Entry and Registration will be done in a single area on the Manly promenade beside the surf club.
- Carefully read and fill out the entry form provided at the tables in the Race Day Entry Area
- Pay your entry fee ($40)
- Proceed to the Registration Tables immediately behind the payment area, where you will be issued with a Electronic Timing Anklet (to be returned immediately after you cross the finish line) and a coloured Age Category Swim Cap
- Check your start time, you are now ready to swim
To save time you can fill out a Race Day Entry Form (link below) ahead of time and bring it to the beach. Race Day Entry Forms will also be available at the beach on race day.

Pre-entered Swimmers Registration

For swimmers who have entered the swim before the day you should proceed to the Registration Area on the Manly promenade beside the surf club.
- Proceed to your Age Category table
- You will be handed a Electronic Timing Anklet (to be returned immediately after you cross the finish line)and a coloured Age Category Swim Cap
- Check your start time, you are now ready to swim.
Registration for pre-entered swimmers is from 8.00am and, for your convenience, will be open until 30 minutes before the start of each wave. The first start wave of the Cole Classic will be at 10.30am.

Risk Warning

Beach Lockers

This year the beach lockers will be located at on the promenade near the end of the corso from 8:00am on race day. The fee's for Cole Classic swimmers are:
- Small - $2.00
- Medium - $3.00
- Large - $4.00
If swimmers would like to reserve a locker please either email Steve Hall, mediacycle@hotmail.com, or call him on 0424 512 514 (New number).
Finish
The race will finish when a swimmer runs across the finish line. The timing device provided must be returned at the end of the race or a $50 replacement fee will be charged.
Please move through the Finish Area quickly so as not to impede swimmers behind, remove timing tag and place in bin provided. A refreshing drink and fruit will be provided to all swimmers.

Protests
The decision of the Race Referee is final. Protests must be made in writing to the Race Referee within 45 mins of completion of the event
Presentation and provisional results
Major awards will be presented on the promenade at approximately 12.15pm.
